Steelcase wanted to increase awareness of the Steelcase Karman as the perfect gaming chair, breaking the perception that Steelcase only make chairs for office workers.
We partnered with a mix of the top tier Japanese gaming and tech media to host an in-person experience at the Steelcase showroom, and seeded chairs with tech YouTube reviewers to showcase the features of the product.
Results
Compared to the other 5 countries in the APAC region, the sales of the Karman in Japan was the highest, and was almost double the amount of the second place territory. As a result, Steelcase have reengaged the services of Hashi Media for future campaigns.
